TUSEC – IP consists of a series of 9 work packages (WP). Time sequences are given on the schedule.

WP 1 Transnational Project Preparation (PREP)

Development of a widespread and well-working partnership at transnational level with a sound and programme related project concept upon a preliminary project idea.

WP 2 Transnational Project Management (PM)

Organisation and coordination of the project by the Lead Partner City of Munich.

WP 4 Information and Publicity (INFO)

Transnational, cross sectoral, horizontal, vertical networking for the exchange of information and communication open to users and the public.

WP 5 Legislation (LEG)

Synopsis of existing regulations and responsibilities in participating countries.

WP 6 User Requirements (USER)

Definition of the requirements for the instrument of soil evaluation from the viewpoint of the users.

WP 7 Evaluation Technique (SET)

User-oriented evaluation technique as a planning instrument with checklists and analytical maps.

WP 8 Application in Pilot Projects (TEST)

Application of the instrument of soil evaluation on different planning levels in partner municipalities.

WP 9 Implementation (IMPL)

Clarification of the preconditions, ways and possibilities for the successful application of the planning instrument on soil evaluation.

WP 10 Conclusions (CON)

Evaluation of the project results, recommendations for the application of the instrument in planning practice and for local soil protection strategies.
