Special activities of each Partner in WP 2

LP: MUC

Lead Partner: city of Munich (D) – Department of Health and Environment

• MUC is responsible for coordination of this WP and its smooth implementation.
• MUC will set up and secure an organisational structure, a time schedule and a task plan and will process and supervise the project work.
• MUC will set up a financial structure and will take care for cost planning, monitoring of costs, accounting and verification of the usage lists.
  Based on the project budget MUC will carry out the financial management through a strict monitoring and controlling of the ongoing project expenditure, the different cost items, the costs of the WPs and the project as a whole.
• MUC will administer contracts.
• MUC will coordinate and organise the reporting.
• MUC will combine on the LP level all sub-reports and integrate into comprehensive project reports.
  Every 6 months MUC will forward the financial report together with the compliant activity report to the MA/PA. After the transfer of the ERDF-funding MUC will swiftly forward the financial amounts assigned to the respective partner.
• MUC will organise and implement project-internal communication and will set up a secretariat.
  Effective and close communication will be ensured via 4 conferences (with participation of all partners), 2 meetings for each WP, a website and a newsletter.
• MUC will organise and manage all conferences, workshops and meetings.
• MUC will host the 2 workshops.
• MUC will organise and lead the PROJECT MANAGING COMMITTEE (PMC).
• MUC will participate in the relevant workshops, conferences and meetings.

Project partner: Autonomous Province of Bolzano (I) - Agency for Environment Protection and Industrial Safety

• Participation in the relevant workshops, conferences and meetings and delivery of the contributions to the reports.

EU-P4: LINZ

Project partner: city of Linz (A)

• The activities around the EU-project TUSEC -IP will be carried out by
• Department for Environmental Protection and Nature Conservation
• Planning Department.

Project partner: city of Reutlingen (D)

• Participation in the relevant workshops, conferences and meetings and delivery of the contributions to the reports.
• Cost sharing according the „Agreement of a contribution towards the costs for the project management“.
• The activities around the EU-project TUSEC -IP will be carried out by
  - the Department for Environmental Protection and Nature Conservation and
  - by the Town Planning Department.

EU-P6: UHOH

Project partner: University of Hohenheim (D)

• UHOH will organise an internal TUSEC-IP conference in 2004.
• Participation in the relevant workshops, conferences and meetings and delivery of the contributions to the reports.
• Servicing the cooperation between the Institute of Soil Science and the Project Partners.

EU-P7: UNITO

Project partner: University of Torino (I)

• UNITO will coordinate the activities of the group and cooperate with other partners as required by the general coordination action of the LP. It will organize intermediate meetings as required by the progress of the project.
• Participation in the relevant workshops, conferences and meetings and delivery of the contributions to the reports.
• Cost sharing according the „Agreement of a contribution towards the costs for the project management“.

NM-P1: MARIBOR

Project partner: municipality of Maribor (SLO)

• Participation in the relevant workshops, conferences and meetings and delivery of the contributions to the reports.

NM-P2: ZRH

Project partner: city of Zurich (CH)

• Participation in the relevant workshops, conferences and meetings and delivery of the contributions to the reports.
• Cost sharing according the „Agreement of a contribution towards the costs for the project management“.
• ZRH will contribute to the organisation of the conference in Zurich.
