EVALUATION TECHNIQUE (SET)
Objectives and expected results
Objectives:
- Development of the procedure of soil evaluation with
regard to soil function.
- This method corresponds to the
individual levels of spatial planning and
- enables determining the performance potentials and
hazard potentials of the soil and
- is simple to use, understandable and user-oriented.
Results:
- Manual describing the soil evaluation technique as
a planning instrument including requirements, procedure,
areas of use and interfaces of processing possibilities.
Description
of main activities
- Compilation and description of available
basic data in the partner cities.
- Development of an user-oriented
evaluation technique.
- Description of a (multi-grade) procedure
(programme, plan, checklists, methods, evaluation criteria,
presentation
of results, e.g. analytical maps).
- Derivation of requirements
of basic data and development of suggestions for their
generation.
- Revision of the evaluation technique.
- Documentation
of the procedure in the form of a manual.
