EU-P2: FEA
Project partner: Federal Environment Agency
Ltd. (A)
- Concerning WP 6 the FEA will contribute to the definition
of criteria for the assessment of the evaluation tool.
Furthermore the checking of application results can be
carried out partially.
- In addition the FEA provides expertise
and personnel resources for proving the evaluation tool
for its practicability within the scope of current planning
processes in the Austrian partner commune.
- The results of those case studies
will be analysed and prepared for the documentation in
cooperation with the Austrian partner commune.
EU-P3: IGUI
Project partner: University of Innsbruck (A)
- IGUI will accompany a planning procedure in two different
municipalities of the Inn Valley and apply the evaluation
technique.
- IGUI will support the municipalities in collecting
data resp. collecting
alternative soil relevant information.
- IGUI will evaluate and document the case
studies.
- IGUI will make proposals for improving the technique.
- IGUI
will make scenarios concerning the future settlement
trends with and without the implementation of the soil
evaluation technique in spatial
planning of some selected municipalities of the Inn Valley.
EU-P4: LINZ
Project partner: city of Linz (A)
- LINZ together with RT are responsible for coordination
of this WP and its smooth implementation.
- Contribution
to the definition of criteria for the assessment of the
evaluation tool.
- A selection of a set of different real test cases
will be chosen under consideration of the discussed criteria.
Eventually
test cases of (an) other
commune(s) in the city region can be included.
- The tests will be carried out and
the evaluation of the test results will be done under
the aspects of the defined criteria.
EU-P5: RT
Project partner: city of Reutlingen (D)
- LINZ together with RT are responsible for coordination
of this WP and its smooth implementation
- Close Cooperation
with LINZ
- Test of the evaluation method in 3 study cases,
in consideration of limited capacity of different soil
types, regarding to city backyards.
- Eventually test cases
of (an) other commune(s) in the city region can
be included.
- The in WP 5 developed checklist for soil evaluation
will be reassessed by all partner communities headed
by the group of LINZ and RT. Criteria comprise
that the checklist is complete, manageable, comprehensible, well defined and
easy to translate into public policy. Based on the results limitations and
further developments will be discussed and optimised
with each partner community.
- Additional requirements
or instructions will be documented.
EU-P6: UHOH
Project partner: University of Hohenheim (D)
- UHOH will incorporate the results of WP 3 and 5.
- UHOH
will give advices to each Project Partner in all case
studies.
- UHOH will detect indicators for the evaluation
of the procedure developed
in TUSEC-IP.
- UHOH will evaluate and document the case studies.
- UHOH
will detect guidelines and recommendations.
EU-P7: UNITO
Project partner: University of Torino (I)
- UNITO will define one or more case studies in cooperation
with the Italian municipalities involved in the project
and run the application of the methodology as defined
in WP5. This will be done in close collaboration with
the analogous experiments, which will be carried out
in other countries.
NM-P1: MARIBOR
Project partner: municipality of Maribor (SLO)
- Determination of the criteria to evaluate the procedure
in implementation and for success control.
- The evaluation
the procedure in implementation will be tested on the
basis of concrete case studies: protection of the quality of the soil in the
underground water protection area is very important. So we are going to study
how the soil evaluation technique can be used and implemented in the case of
planning procedures on this water protection area.
- Assessment of case studies
on the basis of fixed criteria.
NM-P2: ZRH
Project partner: city of Zurich (CH)
- ZRH will test and apply the
