Objectives and expected results
Objectives:
- Clarification of the preconditions for the application
of the planning instrument on soil evaluation.
- Establishment
of ways and possibilities for a successful application
of the instrument.
- Recognition of the soil evaluation
technique as an important element of local soil protection
strategies.
Results:
- Catalogue of strategies, how the instrument of soil
evaluation can be implemented in planning procedures.
Description
of main activities
- Development of implementation strategies
on the basis of Work Package 3 and Work Package 4.
- Testing
of strategies to implement the developed soil evaluation
procedure in everyday practice with the
cities involved on the level of urban and rural
planning, preventive environmental protection, nature protection.
- Success
control of implementation strategies and further recommendations
for improved implementation.
- Compiling a catalogue providing measures and
strategies.
